Our commitment
UAE Portfolio wants its website to work for everyone, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, screen magnification, voice control, or reduced-motion settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
This statement replaces the version of 10 September 2024. It reflects the redesigned website.
What this statement covers
This statement covers the whole of uaeportfolio.com: the home page with the waitlist, the methodology and insights pages, the privacy policy and this statement.
It does not cover the off-plan map at uaeportfolio.brokers.properties. That map runs on the Realiste platform and is offered with an independent, licensed partner broker. We do not operate it and cannot change how it works.
Conformance status
We consider the website partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content may not yet fully conform. The assessment is our own. The website has not yet been audited independently or tested with users of assistive technology.
What we have done
Structure. Each page has a language setting, one main heading, headings in order, and landmarks for the header, main content and footer. Every form field has a visible label.
Keyboard. All links, buttons, form fields, the light and dark switch and the dialogs work with a keyboard. A visible outline shows where the focus is. Dialogs can be closed with the Escape key and return the focus to where it was.
Forms. Required fields are marked. Errors are written out next to the field they belong to, are linked to it for screen readers, and never rely on colour alone. If sending fails, the message saying so is announced to screen readers.
Colour and contrast. Text has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background in both the light and the dark theme. Most body text is above 5.8 to 1. Form field borders and the focus outline reach at least 3 to 1.
Light and dark themes. The page follows your system setting until you choose a theme with the switch. The switch tells screen readers whether dark mode is on.
Motion. The 3D animation is decorative and hidden from screen readers. Everything it shows is also written in the text, including the ten factor categories. If you have turned on "reduce motion" in your device settings, the animation no longer moves continuously, scenes change without transitions, and text appears without fading in.
Without the animation. If your browser cannot show the animation (for example when WebGL is switched off), the page shows the same text as a simple sequence of sections.
Zoom and small screens. The layout adapts to narrow screens and to browser zoom without content being cut off.
Known limitations
- Visual labels in the animation. The labels that float in the 3D scene, for example "Unit A, floor 14", are visual only. Their meaning is in the surrounding text, but not word for word.
- Assistive technology. We have not yet tested the website with screen reader users or other assistive technology users. We plan to do so before the service launches.
Feedback and help
If something on this website does not work for you, please tell us. Use the Contact link at the bottom of any page. Let us know the page, what you tried to do and what went wrong. If you need information from the website in another format, ask and we will do our best to provide it.
We aim to reply within 5 working days.
Technical details
The website relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA. The decorative animation uses WebGL. The pages are designed for current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and mobile.
How we assessed this website
We assessed every page of the website ourselves on 17 October 2026:
- an automated scan with axe-core 4.10 against WCAG 2.2 level A and AA, which found no violations;
- manual checks of keyboard access, focus order and the dialogs;
- contrast calculations for every text and interface colour, in both themes;
- checks of the reduced-motion and no-animation versions of the page.
We will update this statement after an independent audit, and whenever the website changes significantly.
